Yes it is. The slippery slope that led here started way back when elected Republicans refused to speak out for their constituents when they were being forbidden to have pics of their political heroes or favorite presidents in the workplace. And when spineless Republican politcians would withdraw from speaking engagements if Democrats protested their presence. And when it was treated as if ONLY Democrat viewpoints were “intellectual” and “inoffensive” enough to be on NPR and PBS. And on and on.
