It’s no secret that Techno-Fascists like Jack Dorsey and his ilk have been waging war on freedom of expression. Big Tech has shown that it is all about corporate fascism. They really are publishers, not just providers of platforms, and deserve no Section 230 protections and should have their would-be monopoly on communication broken up.
Poland has introduced a new Freedom Act against Big Tech censorship. This act will see members of the public automatically notified of “shadowbans” and empowered to overturn restrictions if their speech online is lawful. Deputy Minister of Justice Sebastian Kaleta, who is spearheading the new legislation, confirmed that “every time an algorithm is used to limit reach, the user will be informed if and why his reach is being limited.”
Hungary is looking to take similar action to protect speech from the whims of bloated rich pigs like the Jack Dorseys and Mark Zuckerbergs of the world.

We are, I fear, attacking the problem from the wrong place.
Get rid of computers, the medium they run on, completely, and all cyberbullying of children will stop, pornography will be sent back underground (though you’ll have to get rid of digital cameras as well), pedophile rings will be stopped dead in their tracks, and there will once again be a paper trail for everything that is said, and last, but not least, our every movement and purchasing habit will once again be private.
Besides, without computers, cyber criminals, online scams, government tracking of citizens, and every other bad thing that happens to us will go away.
Sure, we’ll suffer inconvenience, like having to learn to write and add up again, like having to listen to children whinging at the kitchen table and provide entertainment for them rather than go play a game on their Nintendo, but it’s a small price to pay for the sanity it will give us all.
Start a petition for that eventuality, and I’ll put my name at the top of the list.
