DAY THREE: GAME ONE – This Elimination Game pitted the 8 seeds – the LINDSEY WILSON COLLEGE BLUE RAIDERS – against the 6th seeded AUBURN UNIVERSITY AT MONTGOMERY WARHAWKS (formerly the Senators). Runs came easily in this high-scoring shootout. By the 3rd Inning the Blue Raiders held a 6-2 advantage over the Warhawks, which turned into a 15-10 lead by the 6th. From there AUM added 2 more runs as Lindsey Wilson College pulled off a 15-12 upset.
DAY THREE: GAME TWO – The 7th seeded STERLING COLLEGE WARRIORS and the 9 seeds – the MASTER’S COLLEGE MUSTANGS – fought each other for survival in this game. The Warriors grabbed a 3-0 lead in the 1st Inning but that melted to a 4-3 edge by the 3rd. The Mustangs made it a 4-4 tie in the 6th Inning then went up 7-5 in the 7th. Sterling College scored 2 runs each in the final 2 Innings for a 9-7 triumph.
DAY THREE: GAME THREE – In this contest the 2nd seeded TENNESSEE WESLEYAN COLLEGE BULLDOGS faced the 3rd seeded BELLEVUE UNIVERSITY BRUINS. After a scoreless 1st Inning the Bulldogs put up runs in the 2nd, 4th, 7th and 8th Innings while only giving up 3 late runs themselves. Tennessee Wesleyan College won easily by a count of 9-3. Tyler Thornton was the winning Pitcher.
DAY THREE: GAME FOUR – Closing out the day’s action was this game between the 4 seeds – the Defending Champion LEWIS-CLARK STATE WARRIORS – and the top seeded FAULKNER UNIVERSITY EAGLES (should be the Furies). Neither of the teams scored at all through the first EIGHT INNINGS of this relentless Pitcher’s Duel! In the bottom of the 9th the Warriors managed a few runs for a 3-0 shutout and a Win for Lewis-Clark State Pitcher Jake Barnett.

DAY TEN: GAME A – The MILLERSVILLE UNIVERSITY MARAUDERS took the diamond against the CAL POLY POMONA BRONCOS. In the 1st Inning the Marauders seized a quick 2-0 advantage and never looked back from there, piling up run after run. In the end Millersville University eliminated the Broncos in an ELEVEN to THREE smackdown. Marauders Pitcher Jim McDade picked up the Win.
DAY TEN: GAME B – This game saw the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN INDIANA SCREAMING EAGLES do battle with the ANGELO STATE RAMS. The spectators to this game were treated to a Pitcher’s Duel Extraordinaire. Neither the Screaming Eagles nor the Rams were able to score until, at long last, in the bottom of the 9th Inning, the University of Southern Indiana drove in a run for a 1-0 victory. Lucas Barnett pitched 9 Iron Man Innings for the Screaming Eagles.
