MUSLIM PREACHER OKAY WITH RAPING WOMEN

Abu IslamEgyptian Salafi preacher Ahmad Mahmoud Abdullah, also called “Abu Islam”, has stated that raping women in Tahrir square is justified. He further stated that they “got what they deserved” and were “without shame”. His hate-filled misogynist rant has been translated in its entirety from El Arabiya and also includes mindless drivel about how the female protestors should “practice their femininity”.

This story and last week’s news item about a Saudi preacher raping, torturing and murdering his five year old daughter are just the latest reminders of the kind of superstitious savagery tha Continue reading

NOTEWORTHY COLLEGE BASKETBALL AND HOCKEY RESULTS: FEBRUARY 9TH

Valley City StateVALLEY CITY STATE RULES THE WORLD – The NAIA’s 19th ranked VALLEY CITY STATE VIKINGS played the role of giant-killers yesterday. The Vikings hosted NCAA Division TWO’s SOUTH DAKOTA M&T HARDROCKERS and brought them down in an epic 61-55 clash.

For newbies to these divisions this is like a D2 hoops team upsetting a D1 team. NAIA football teams often topple NCAA D2 teams and their basketball teams prove they’re more than capable of such upsets, too. Valley City State improves to 20-6 with the win and have emerged with a victory in 5 out of their last 6 games.

George Fox BruinsNUMBER THREE TAKES A FALL – The unranked GEORGE FOX BRUINS took it on the road and managed to defeat the number 3 team in the nation, the WHITWORTH PIRATES, by a score of 89-81. The Bruins move up to 14-9 while the Pirates fall to 20-3.    ###   In other upsets in the D3 Top 25 the SCRANTON ROYALS toppled the visiting 8th ranked CATHOLIC CARDINALS  82-74   ###   The HOPE FLYING DUTCHMEN welcomed the unlucky number 13 CALVIN KNIGHTS and sent them home with a 73-70 loss   ###   … And at 21 the CHRISTOPHER NEWPORT UNIVERSITY CAPTAINS fell Continue reading

AL SHARPTON OR RUSH LIMBAUGH: WHO’S A BIGGER HATEMONGER?

Welcome back to Balladeer’s Blog, the only site on the web that equally criticizes American Liberals and Conservatives. It goes without saying that both sides of the political spectrum boast a large number of repulsive demagogues who spout the kind of drivel that appeals to their fanatical followers but which leaves the rest of us (aka “adults”) disgusted with the shrill state of American politics. Once again I’m letting readers vote on a particular question. To avoid multiple votes by the same people  you can vote by emailing me via my “FAQ” page.

https://i0.wp.com/thefinereport.com/wp-content/imagescaler/e52ab7faed87273bdcfef2d64ed59828.jpgAL SHARPTON – Sharpton often calls himself “reverend”  (LMFAO!) and in my opinion he’s the Father Coughlin of the American left. Al’s calling card throughout his career of demagoguery has been his ill-conceived loathing of all white people. Whenever there have been pogroms and genocidal practices throughout human history I can picture each era’s “Al Sharpton figures” urging on the killing.

In fact “Sharptonian” might be a good adjective for describing the callous monsters who hate and hate and hate and sometimes kill and kill and kill while putting on pious pretences. The adjective could be applied to any situation from the Holocaust (and given Al’s apparent feelings toward Jews that’s a given) to Rwanda. Yes, whether it’s the Tawana Brawley incident to wherever else Sharpton inserts his loathesome presence you can bet he’ll be stoking up the racism of his band of Continue reading

SIX MORE IROQUOIS DEITIES

2 Iroquois confederacyThe reaction to my latest look at a neglected pantheon of deities has been through the roof! I’ll soon be examining an epic myth from Iroquois mythology but in the meantime here’s a look at six more deities of the various tribes in the Iroquois Confederation.

6. SHAGODIAQDANE – The Iroquois goddess of the summer. She was depicted as an old woman sitting cross-legged in the forest and she sang a song that only birds could hear and their own chirping and singing was considered to be their response to the goddess’ song. As summer started to turn into autumn the entourage of the evil winter god Tawiskaron began to return. First the Continue reading

PULP HEROES – THE MOON MAN: STORIES 16-18

Moon ManI’m continuing my look at Frederick C Davis’ pulp hero the Moon Man. In reality police detective Stephen Thatcher, the Moon Man stalked the night-darkened streets of fictional Great City (“Great City ya got here … it’d be a shame if something happened to it …”) clad in his black costume and his helmet made of one-way Argus glass. Armed with an automatic pistol plus limitless courage and ingenuity the Moon Man captured or killed Great City’s most dangerous criminals (white collar and blue collar) and robbed them of their ill-gotten booty. He would then distribute that money to the city’s Great Depression-ravaged poor. ( “Great Depression ya got here … it’d be a shame if – ” oh, forget it!) All this made him hunted by both the crooks AND the cops. For more on the Moon Man and other neglected pulp heroes click here: https://glitternight.com/pulp-heroes/

16. FINGERS OF FEAR – The Moon Man raids an illegal casino where Great City’s wealthiest citizens indulge their gambling habit. Before he can lay his hands on the casino’s several-thousand dollar haul for the night the cops raid the place and he barely escapes himself. Meanwhile, Thayer Barron, a bloated rich pig, uses his financial hold on Great City’s Police Commissioner Mead and forces him to fire Lt Gil McEwen. The excuse given for the firing is McEwen’s failure to capture the Moon Man after all this time, but the real reason is Continue reading
