The Florida Christian College Suns (logo at left) came into the NCCAA tournament seeded 4th, but unfortunately had a rough time of it, losing both their opening round game and also the consolation bracket game. In the USCAA2 tournament the top- seeded Central Penn Silver Knights were upset by 8th- seeded Berkeley College and 2nd- seeded Beaver (PA) fell to the 7 seeds, the College of St Joe Fighting Saints.
Cool-named teams falling yesterday were the Lourdes University Gray Wolves, the St Mary Spires, the Jamestown College Jimmies and the St Ambrose Fighting Bees.
