NAIA COLLEGE BASEBALL PLAYOFF POSITIONS FINALIZED

The conference tournaments are over now and the NAIA’s national tournament will begin May 9th. Here are the teams competing in the nine brackets and their seeding:

MAY 16TH’S NAIA COLLEGE BASEBALL TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Just two brackets have yet to produce a champion, and that’s because of weather postponements. These champions will join the eight other teams in the NAIA World Series May 27th – June 3rd.

MAY 15TH’S NAIA COLLEGE BASEBALL TOURNAMENT RESULTS

PADUCAH BRACKET – The Cumberland Bulldogs, the reigning champs of NAIA baseball, dismembered the Tennessee Wesleyan Tigers by a score of 19-9, forcing a second game later today. The winner of that second game will win this bracket and advance to the NAIA World Series … In the second game, just concluded, the Tigers turned the tables on Coach Woody Hunt’s reigning champions by a score of 9-2, knocking out the storied Cumberland program and becoming just this year’s second non-top seed to win their bracket.  TENNESSEE WESLEYAN TIGERS ADVANCE TO THE NAIA WORLD SERIES

MAY 14TH’S NAIA COLLEGE BASEBALL TOURNAMENT RESULTS (UPDATED THROUGHOUT THE DAY)

OKLAHOMA CITY BRACKET – Belhaven Blazers over the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds  7-6  (Sunbirds eliminated) … Oklahoma City Stars made the Belhaven Blazers their prison brides by a score of 15-0. OKLAHOMA CITY STARS WIN THEIR BRACKET AND ADVANCE TO THE NAIA WORLD SERIES 

RIVERSIDE BRACKET – Cal Baptist Lancers over the CS-San Marcos Cougars  4-2 (Cougars elim) … Concordia (CA) Eagles over the Cal Baptist Lancers 4-2 in a “boring name” win over a “cool name”.  CONCORDIA (CA) EAGLES WIN THEIR BRACKET AND ADVANCE TO THE NAIA WORLD SERIES
