In the end the Cougars went back home with a 127-120 victory   ###   Also in Double Overtime the MCPHERSON COLLEGE BULLDOGS defeated the visiting HASKELL INDIAN NATIONS UNIVERSITY INDIANS by a score of 112-105.

The Swedes put up 92 points to the 82 scored by the Trojans   ###   And in the other semifinal the top-ranked host school, the EMBRY-RIDDLE AERONAUTICAL UNIVERSITY EAGLES came out on top in an 82-60 affair against the CENTRAL CHRISTIAN COLLEGE TIGERS.

Stevens Point Pointers logo1NUMBER ONE CONTINUES TO ROLL – The top-ranked team in the nation, the UW-STEVENS POINT POINTERS faced a dire threat yesterday from the WHITWORTH UNIVERSITY PIRATES. Whitworth actually led the venerable Pointers at Halftime by a score of 45-43 but Stevens Point came out in the 2nd Half focused and ready to play. When all was said and done the Pointers improved to 9-0 with a 93-75 victory.
