Great posts as always. I don’t take much of an interest in American politics but I have always found your posts to be very engaging. This post about politicians running campaigns reminded me a lot of great political movies I have seen. To give an example, it reminded me of the movie “Ides of March”. George Clooney’s movie followed a politician that becomes involved a treacherous scandal that threatens to destroy his career. One of the most underrated movies of 2011 that didn’t get the recognition it deserved.

Absolutely! Every time I see Walz he reminds me of him.
I’ll take rocks and cows any day over the Democrats. And, watch out for these liberal polls showing Harris ahead. They’ve been caught over-sampling Democrats, just like they did in 2016.
I know what you mean, and yes, polls in recent decades have been more about trying to influence public opinion, not measure it. I know I’m far from the first one to feel that way.
