Great posts as always. I don’t take any interest in politics but have always found your posts engaging to read. The story about court appeals stood out to me. The United States has long held history of having a corrupt legal system. This has often been depicted in memorable movies. To give an example, “To Kill a Mockingbird” is a great movie depicting the harsh realities of the court system in the United States. Based on the beloved book, it tells a story of a lawyer seeking to defend a black man that’s wrongfully accused of a crime he did not commit. It remains one of my favourite films of all-time. Very relevant to the world we live in today.

The Democratic Party is a joke. They are failing in all of their policies. Instead of changing their policies, they try to present left-wing radicals like Harris and Walz as “moderates” while appeasing the leftist extremists. They are so delusional, it borders on mental illness. It’s pathetic to watch. It would be funny if they weren’t doing so much damage to so many people.
You said it exactly. The damage they do to so many people is horrific, yet it never penetrates that pompous air of self satisfaction they wrap themselves in.
