Add to that the fact that another Supreme Court decision recently knocked the charges against January 6th protestors down from “insurrection” (LMAO) to what it really was – trespassing. Balladeer’s Blog has been among those saying since the beginning that all these things would happen once the witch hunts against Trump got outside the partisan Democrat courts. It’s just a shame that the court system in America moves so slowly.

Meaningful posts as always. I mentioned that I don’t take any interest in politics, but I always find your posts entertaining to read. The story about the Iranian plot to assassinate Donald Trump did bring to mind memorable movies I have seen. For instance, it reminded me of the film “Argo”. Ben Affleck’s Oscar-winning drama told the true story of the real-life hostage crisis in Iran that took place during the 1980’s. It captures the negative attitudes that the U.S. holds against Iran today. One of the best movies of 2012.

Thank you for highlighting this horrific issue. I know just how Anne Funder feels, as I too, lost my son to fentanyl. It was in October 2021 here in Georgia. He was my only child, 36 years old and he was found in his room dead by myself and my 84 year old mother. We loved him so much, and depended on him a lot, as we are both in poor health. I’m forever devastated, as are our family and his friends. It’s obscene that our children, both adult, juvenile, even babies are being poisoned by fentanyl that keeps pouring over the border.
That is terrible! I am so sorry for your loss! I agree, people need to start taking this situation seriously.
Great post once again. I don’t take any interest in politics but have often found your posts entertaining to read. I found this post to be extremely informative. I have to agree with the story on the court system of the United States. Sadly, the legal system has always been corrupt in America. It has always built barriers that impact the success of people of colour. There have been many great films that have been made on this subject. For instance, your post brought to mind the iconic classic “To Kill a Mockingbird”. Based on the beloved book, it tells the story of a lawyer defending an African American man during the segregated era for a crime he did not commit. One of my favourite films of all time. Sadly, it remains relevant nearly 60 years after its release and speaks to the events that are going on in the legal system today in America.
