Great posts as always. I don’t take any interest in politics regarding the United States but I’ve always found your posts engaging to read. This post brought to mind memorable movies about politics that I’ve seen. For instance, it reminded me of the film “The Report”. It told the true story of the creation of a torture report that was used by the CIA after the events of 9/11. One of the greatest political thrillers I have seen that didn’t get the recognition it truly deserved in 2020. It tackles similar themes about scandals that you raised in this post.
