I can just imagine.
It only matters what THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DO. If Americans support the Democratic agenda, what can the Republicans do? Nothing. But if the American people DO NOT support their sick agenda, they have a responsibility to get these jerks out of office. The question is: do the American people – including Democrats – support the Democratic Party agenda? That’s what I want to know.
The clueless, outdated and utterly useless Republican Party has failed at so many of the responsibilities of an opposition party that it’s pointless to pretend that anybody even knows both sides of any given issue. The American people cannot make informed decisions partly because of the censorship games that Democrats play and partly because the people who run the Republican Party refuse to spend the money necessary to compete at messaging. Hell, many readers tell me they would never even know about the assorted scandals that plague the Democrats if not for me mentioning them here.
I disagree with plenty of the positions that BOTH parties hold, but at this particular moment in time it’s the Democrats who try to utterly destroy people who disagree with them. The failed Republican Party cares nothing about their constituents, they care only about their own wealth and position and can’t be bothered to try to compete evenly with the other party. It’s like the sports saying: “One side wants it more.”
You are absolutely right, and it’s the responsibility of people who care to pay attention and look at both sides. The Democrats have been very successful at brainwashing their base. The Republicans are so caught up in their own ego battles, they end up screwing their own base. Independents can go either way. The firing of Tucker Carlson highlights just how corrupt Fox AND the GOP really are. I personally appreciate all of your posts and research, and I hope you will continue.
Thank you very much for the kind words! I certainly will continue. As an Independent I agree about it going either way depending on the moment. If not for the way both our major parties had grafted (no play on words intended) themselves onto the body politic I genuinely believe the Republican Party would have faded into irrelevance by now. The people who run that party don’t care about their constituents in any way, not even when their civil liberties get violated regularly or when they’re propagandized into being the country’s “Safe Targets.”
As it is, I think the only reason most Republicans still vote for that party is the reason that a two-party virtual monopoly puts a nation in – a fear that NOT voting for their party means the Democrats might win the race.
