Republicans sure don’t know how to do politics anymore. Sigh.
I know what you mean. No matter who they go with, that candidate will be covered in mud and they lack sufficient outlets to counter the mud-slinging. Then the pious buffoons who run the party make harrumphing noises about putting them in the rear view mirror or needing to move beyond the candidate who had been slanderously attacked.
