NJCAA DIVISION ONE
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The last two teams standing in NJCAA Division One baseball were the CENTRAL ARIZONA COLLEGE VAQUEROS and the COWLEY COLLEGE TIGERS.
The 1st Inning ended with the Vaqueros on top 2-1 and that became a 3-2 edge in the 2nd. The 3rd Inning saw Central Arizona College squeeze out a little breathing room as they made it a 4-2 game.
And that marked the end of the scoring the rest of the way. After 6 more Innings of a Pitcher’s Duel the final tally was also Vaqueros 4 Tigers 2. Central Arizona’s Pitcher Shane Spencer got the win for his team’s second National Championship in the last three years. * THE VAQUEROS ARE CHAMPIONS OF NJCAA BASEBALL *
