Ozark Christian College Ambassadors new logoROUND ONE: GAME ONE – The 6 seeds – the OZARK CHRISTIAN COLLEGE AMBASSADORS – faced the 3rd seeded RHEMA BIBLE COLLEGE EAGLES. The Ambassadors made it clear they were in it to win it with their 50-36 Halftime lead which wound up as a 93-87 Upset victory. Parker Sutton’s 21 points led Ozark Christian College while teammate Brett Campbell notched a Double-Double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Kansas Christian College FalconsROUND ONE: GAME TWO – The 7th seeded KANSAS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE FALCONS took on the 10 seeds – the FREE LUTHERAN BIBLE COLLEGE CONQUERORS. The Falcons were manhandling the Conquerors 48-21 at the Half, then coasted from there to an 87-56 blowout win. Jouvens Hyacinthe and Stephone Jackson led Kansas Christian College with 14 points each.

Barclay College BearsROUND ONE: GAME THREE – In this game the 8 seeds – the BARCLAY COLLEGE BEARS – clashed with the 9th seeded TRINITY BIBLE COLLEGE LIONS. The Bears parlayed a 51-30 advantage at the break into a Century Club-level 108 to 61 smackdown of the Lions. Tyrone Beckem tossed in 22 points to lead Barclay College.

XAVIERLAGULF STATES ATHLETIC CONFERENCE: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The top seeds – the XAVIER UNIVERSITY (LA) GOLD RUSH – took the court against the 2nd seeded TOUGALOO COLLEGE BULLDOGS. This was a battle royal with the Bulldogs on top 39-33 at Halftime before the Gold Rush came from behind for a 78-75 victory. Rayshawn Mart’s 20 points led Xavier U. * THE GOLD RUSH ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE GSAC TOURNAMENT

LSU Shreveport Pilots NEWRED RIVER ATHLETIC CONFERENCE: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The last two teams standing in this conference tournament were the 2nd seeded LSU-SHREVEPORT PILOTS (Riverboat Pilots) and the Cinderella 6 seeds – the TEXAS A&M AT TEXARKANA EAGLES (should be the Texarks). The Pilots held a 36-29 advantage by the Half then stayed enough in front to win out 79-75. Jeff Boyd led LSUS with 22 points. * THE PILOTS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE RRAC TOURNAMENT *  

acu firestormGOLDEN STATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The 4 seeds – the ARIZONA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY FIRESTORM – did battle with the 6th seeded HOPE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY ROYALS. The Royals had the Firestorm worried with their 47-38 lead at the break but Arizona Christian University stormed back to win this 83-82 Instant Classic. Twenty-nine points from De’Ron Kyle led the Firestorm. * THE FIRESTORM ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE GSAC TOURNAMENT

dalton state roadrunnersSOUTHERN STATES ATHLETIC CONFERENCE: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – This title tilt pitted the 2nd seeded DALTON STATE ROADRUNNERS against the 4 seeds – the LOYOLA UNIVERSITY (LA) WOLFPACK. A 37-37 Halftime tie ultimately became a 79-70 triumph for the Roadrunners. Kevon Tucker led Dalton State with 20 points. * THE ROADRUNNERS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE SSAC TOURNAMENT


Moberly Area College GreyhoundsMIDWEST DISTRICT: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The MOBERLY AREA COLLEGE GREYHOUNDS took on the HIGHLAND COLLEGE (IL) COUGARS in this battle of cats and dogs. The teams went blow for blow and basket for basket for awhile, but when the dust had settled, the Greyhounds had won it 78-70. * THE GREYHOUNDS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE MIDWEST DISTRICT TOURNAMENT *

John A Logan College VolunteersCENTRAL DISTRICT: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The JOHN A LOGAN COLLEGE VOLUNTEERS played the VINCENNES UNIVERSITY TRAILBLAZERS for this district’s crown. A 38-38 Halftime tie was followed by the Volunteers taking charge for a 78-67 victory. Jay Scrubb put up THIRTY-SIX points to lead John A Logan College. * THE VOLUNTEERS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE CENTRAL DISTRICT TOURNAMENT *
