CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The two teams duking it out for the NCAA Division Two baseball title were the 5 seeds – the AUGUSTANA (SD) UNIVERSITY VIKINGS – and the 2nd seeded COLUMBUS STATE COUGARS.
The first 3 Innings were a Pitcher’s Duel with neither team scoring. The Vikings made it a 2-0 game in the 4th but in the bottom of the 5th Inning the Cougars tied things up at 2-2.
The 6th Inning saw Augustana University add another run, which held up all the way to the end of the game to give them a 3-2 victory. Jacob Blank pitched for 9 Iron Man Innings for the new champions. * THE VIKINGS ARE NCAA DIVISION TWO NATIONAL CHAMPIONS *

It is always good to hear from the fans!
Columbus State choked more than Augustana won it.
I can see how an argument could be made for that.
Two teams I couldn’t care less about, so no interest in that championship.
