DAY ONE – GAME ONE – This game pitted the 4 seeds – the PALM BEACH ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY SAILFISH – against the 5th seeded CENTRAL BAPTIST COLLEGE MUSTANGS. The Sailfish seized a 5-0 lead in the 1st Inning then doubled that to a 10-0 lead in the 2nd. From there Palm Beach Atlantic University never looked back, ultimately thrashing the Mustangs by a score of SIXTEEN to TWO! Pitcher Josh Turner got the win.
DAY ONE – GAME TWO – Up next was a clash between the 3rd seeded OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY EAGLES and the 6 seeds – the BETHESDA (CA) UNIVERSITY FLAMES. This Pitcher’s Duel was scoreless until the 4th Inning, when the Eagles took a 1-0 edge. The Flames made it a 1-1 tie in the 6th Inning and there things stood until the bottom of the TENTH Inning, when Oklahoma Christian University knocked in another run for a 2-1 triumph. Garrett Hill threw for the win.
DAY ONE – GAME THREE – The 2 seeds – the LEE UNIVERSITY FLAMES – took on the 7th seeded TRINITY CHRISTIAN COLLEGE TROLLS in Game Three. The Flames grabbed a 2-0 advantage in the 1st Inning then made it a 3-0 game in the 4th. After that Inning the rout was on as Lee University hammered the Trolls to the tune of FOURTEEN to ONE! The win went to Dustin Lawson.
DAY ONE – GAME FOUR – The top seeded Defending Champions – the FRESNO PACIFIC UNIVERSITY SUNBIRDS – faced the 8th seeded TOCCOA FALLS COLLEGE EAGLES. A 1-0 Sunbird lead over the Eagles in the 1st Inning turned into a 6-0 advantage in the 2nd. Fresno Pacific University never let Toccoa Falls College recover and shut them out by a final count of 8-0. Jake Martinez was the winning Pitcher for the Sunbirds.
DAY ONE – GAME FIVE – The 3rd seeded OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY EAGLES took the diamond for their second game of the day – this one against the 10 seeds – the OAKLAND CITY UNIVERSITY MIGHTY OAKS. Once again OCU was in a Pitcher’s Duel, with no score until the Eagles notched one in the 6th Inning. That became a 3-0 lead in the top of the 7th but the Mighty Oaks made it 3-1 in their half of the Inning. OCU went on to win by that 3-1 tally. Credit Brennan Walker with the W.
DAY ONE – GAME SIX – The 4th seeded PALM BEACH ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY SAILFISH played once again, squaring off against the 9th seeded BLUEFIELD COLLEGE RAMBLING RAMS. The Rambling Rams got on the scoreboard first, taking a 2-0 lead in the 2nd Inning. The Sailfish replied with 4 runs in the 3rd and rode them all the way to a 4-2 victory. Pitcher Kyle Polaski went all 9 Iron Man Innings for Palm Beach Atlantic.
DAY ONE – GAME SEVEN – The 2nd seeded LEE UNIVERSITY FLAMES battled the 6 seeds – the BETHESDA (CA) UNIVERSITY FLAMES in this example of Flame on Flame violence. Lee University scored in every Inning except the 2nd and the 6th while Bethesda University put up runs only in the 5th, 7th and 8th. Lee went 2-0 for the day with a 12-7 triumph over BU. Jacob Potts was the winning Pitcher.
DAY ONE – GAME EIGHT – Closing out Day One action was this game between the top seeded FRESNO PACIFIC UNIVERSITY SUNBIRDS and the 5th seeded CENTRAL BAPTIST COLLEGE MUSTANGS. The Sunbirds went to work early, taking a 3-1 lead in the 1st Inning and parlaying that into another victory by a final score of 8-1. The victorious Pitcher for the Defending Champions was Drew Merlo.

DAY TWO – GAME ONE – The 8th seeded TOCCOA FALLS COLLEGE EAGLES upset the 5 seeds – the CENTRAL BAPTIST COLLEGE MUSTANGS to start Day Two. A scoreless game through 4 Innings became a 2-0 lead for the Eagles in the 5th. Toccoa Falls College added 5 more runs in the 7th Inning to shut out the Mustangs by a count of 7-0. John Cassandra pitched all 9 Innings for Toccoa Falls College.
DAY TWO – GAME TWO – The 6 seeds – the BETHESDA (CA) UNIVERSITY FLAMES – took the diamond against the 7th seeded TRINITY CHRISTIAN COLLEGE TROLLS. The Flames managed a 1-0 lead in the 3rd Inning then pounded in 5 additional runs in the 6th for a 6-0 advantage. The Trolls mounted a furious comeback, knocking in 2 runs in the 7th to make it a 6-2 game, then 3 runs in the 8th to pull within one. The rally fell just short as Bethesda University won the game 6-5. Pitcher Sheldon Mobley got the save for the Flames.
DAY TWO – GAME THREE – The (1) FRESNO PACIFIC UNIVERSITY SUNBIRDS played the (9) BLUEFIELD COLLEGE RAMBLING RAMS next. A 1-0 Sunbird edge in the 1st Inning became a 4-1 advantage by the 3rd and 4-2 by the 5th. From there Fresno Pacific University scored 2 more runs in the 7th Inning, going on to win the game by a final tally of 6-2. Eian Raeber notched the win.
DAY TWO – GAME FOUR – Following that game the (2) LEE UNIVERSITY FLAMES shut out the (10) OAKLAND CITY UNIVERSITY MIGHTY OAKS. Neither team scored in the first 3 Innings but in the 4th the Flames managed a 1-0 lead. In the 6th Inning they expanded that to a 3-0 advantage on their way to a 6-0 triumph. Logan Campbell pitched all 9 Innings for Lee University.
DAY TWO – GAME FIVE – In an 8 seed over 9 seed victory the TOCCOA FALLS COLLEGE EAGLES took on the BLUEFIELD COLLEGE RAMBLING RAMS. After 2 scoreless Innings the Rambling Rams led 1-0 in the 3rd. The Eagles made it a 1-1 game in the 4th then took a 2-1 lead in the 5th. Toccoa Falls College outscored Bluefield College 4-3 the rest of the way for a tight 6-4 victory. Zach Breeden picked up the W for the Eagles.
DAY TWO – GAME SIX – The (10) OAKLAND CITY UNIVERSITY MIGHTY OAKS notched their first win of the Series and got it against the (7) TRINITY CHRISTIAN COLLEGE TROLLS. The Mighty Oaks parlayed a 4-0 2nd Inning lead into a FOURTEEN to THREE beatdown of the Trolls. Dylan Allen was the winning Pitcher.
DAY TWO – GAME SEVEN – The top seeded Defending Champs – the FRESNO PACIFIC UNIVERSITY SUNBIRDS tangled with the 4th seeded PALM BEACH ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY SAILFISH. Neither team scored until the 6th Inning, which ended in a 1-1 tie. The 7th Inning ended in a 2-2 tie which was where the officials left this Pool Play game on account of the elements.
DAY TWO – GAME EIGHT – The (2) LEE UNIVERSITY FLAMES competed against the (3) OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY EAGLES to end the day. The Flames were leading 5-0 in the 5th Inning on their way to a THIRTEEN to THREE buttkicking. Pitcher Chevis Hoover got the victory.
