CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The 2 seeds – the TALLADEGA COLLEGE TORNADOES – tangled with the top seeded EDWARD WATERS COLLEGE TIGERS in this title game. The contest was scoreless until the 8th Inning when the Tornadoes took a 3-0 lead and followed that up with another run in the 9th for a 4-0 victory. ROUND TWO – The 4th seeded NORTHWESTERN (IA) COLLEGE RED RAIDERS brought down the top seeded BRIAR CLIFF UNIVERSITY CHARGERS in a 7-6 Instant Classic ### Upset Friday continued in the GPAC as the (8) MIDLAND WARRIORS eliminated the MT MARTY LANCERS 11-3 ### Meanwhile the (7) DAKOTA WESLEYAN TIGERS trashed the (3) MORNINGSIDE MUSTANGS 8-3 ### And the (6) HASTINGS BRONCOS avoided elimination twice by toppling the (2) DOANE TIGERS 5-4 and then (3) Morningside 3-0.

ROUND TWO – The 6 seeds – the BENEDICTINE COLLEGE RAVENS – stayed alive by eliminating the 7th seeded CULVER-STOCKTON COLLEGE WILDCATS 3-1 ### The (8) CENTRAL METHODIST EAGLES eliminated the (4) AVILA EAGLES 2-1 ### The (1) PERU STATE BOBCATS mauled the (5) GRACELAND YELLOW JACKETS 13-3 ### And the (3) MIDAMERICA NAZARENE PIONEERS stunned the (2) MISSOURI VALLEY VIKINGS 16-2.

ROUND THREE – It was all favorites in the KCAC yesterday. The (1) TABOR COLLEGE BLUE JAYS routed the (3) KANSAS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY COYOTES 7-2 ### Meanwhile the (2) STERLING WARRIORS eliminated the (5) BETHANY SWEDES in a 7-6 thriller ### And (3) Kansas Wesleyan in turn eliminated (2) Sterling in an equally tight 4-3 game.

ROUND THREE – The (3) INDIANA UNIVERSITY SOUTHEAST GRENADIERS avoided elimination twice yesterday, bouncing the (6) ASBURY EAGLES 8-4 and then sending the top seeded POINT PARK UNIVERSITY PIONEERS home in a 5-4 game after the (2) RIO GRANDE RED STORM had already beaten them 6-3 earlier in the day.

ROUND ONE – The top seeded MAYVILLE STATE COMETS downed the 6 seeds – the DICKINSON STATE BLUE HAWKS – by a score of 5-3 ### Meanwhile the (5) PRESENTATION COLLEGE SAINTS upset the (2) UNIVERSITY OF JAMESTOWN JIMMIES 8-7 ### And the (3) VALLEY CITY STATE VIKINGS doubled up on the (4) DAKOTA STATE TROJANS 8-4.

ROUND ONE – The 2 seeds – the LSU-SHREVEPORT PILOTS (Riverboat Pilots) edged the 3rd seeded JARVIS CHRISTIAN BULLDOGS 7-6 ### And the 4th seeded OUR LADY OF THE LAKE UNIVERSITY SAINTS took out both the top seeded LSU-ALEXANDRIA GENERALS 4-3 and the 5th seeded BACONE COLLEGE WARRIORS in a 15-7 rout.
