The CYPRESS COLLEGE CHARGERS won the CCCAA baseball championship for the FIFTH time and the first time since 2003. Their opponents were the FULLERTON COLLEGE HORNETS, who led 1-0 after the 1st inning, the last time they would lead in the game. The Chargers put up multiple runs in the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 8th while giving up just 2 more runs themselves for a 10-3 victory. On their way to the title Cypress also took down Mount San Antonio College, the College of the Canyons and Santa Rosa College. It’s another championship not just for the Chargers but for the Orange Empire Conference. Congratulations to Cypress College!
