ATLANTIC REGION: The 4th seeded SHIPPENSBURG UNIVERSITY RED RAIDERS took the Regional title by defeating the 3rd seeded SETON HILL GRIFFINS in two games, first by a blowout score of 10-3 then again in a 3-2 nailbiter. Along the way to the Atlantic Region Championship the Red Raiders also defeated the top seeded MILLERSVILLE MARAUDERS and the (2) WINSTON-SALEM STATE RAMS.
CENTRAL REGION: The MINNESOTA STATE MAVERICKS lived up to their top seeding and obliterated the 5th seeded ST CLOUD STATE HUSKIES by an unbelievable SEVENTEEN to ONE in the title game. On their way to the Regional Championship the Mavericks had also defeated the 6th seeded MISSOURI SOUTHERN LIONS and the 4th seeded MISSOURI WESTERN GRIFFONS.
EAST REGION: The 6th seeded FRANKLIN PIERCE UNIVERSITY RAVENS defied all the prognosticators by winning the Regional Championship! And the Ravens did it in convincing fashion, upsetting the top seeded WILMINGTON (DE) WILDCATS, first in a 7-0 shutout on Day One and again in the title game by a score of 5-1. FPU also shocked the 5th seeded PACE UNIVERSITY SETTERS and the 4th seeded SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE PENMEN, last year’s East Region champions.
MIDWEST REGION: The 3rd seeded GRAND VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY LAKERS took this region’s title with a 6-3 victory over the 6 seeds, the BELLARMINE KNIGHTS. Along the way to the Regional Championship the Lakers also took down the 4th seeded SAINT JOSEPH’S (IN) PUMAS and the 5th seeded LEWIS UNIVERSITY FLIERS.
SOUTH REGION: The top seeds, the UNIVERSITY OF TAMPA SPARTANS, annihilated the 4th seeded UNIVERSITY OF WEST FLORIDA ARGONAUTS in an embarrasing TWENTY to SEVEN outcome that sounds more like a football score. In the games leading up to that slaughter the Spartans defeated the 6th seeded STILLMAN TIGERS and the 3rd seeded FLORIDA TECH PANTHERS.
SOUTH CENTRAL REGION: The 3rd seeded SAINT EDWARD’S UNIVERSITY HILLTOPPERS took the regional title with an authoritative 7-1 upset of the top seeds, the TEXAS A&M-KINGSVILLE JAVELINAS. Enroute to the championship the Hilltoppers had also triumphed over the 4th seeded ANGELO STATE RAMS, the 2nd seeded COLORADO MESA MAVERICKS and the 5th seeded SAINT MARY’S (TX) RATTLERS.
SOUTHEAST REGION: In a title game of Cinderellas the 4th seeded COKER COBRAS defeated the 5 seeds, the GEORGIA COLLEGE BOBCATS, by a score of 7-2. On their way to this clash the Cobras took down the 3rd seeded ARMSTRONG ATLANTIC PIRATES, the 2nd seeded UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA-AIKEN PACERS and the top seeded MOUNT OLIVE COLLEGE WARRIORS.
WEST REGION: The 4th seeded GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY ANTELOPES took a pair of games from the 6th seeded CHICO STATE WILDCATS, by scores of 9-6 and 6-2, to win the West Region Championship. Along the way the Antelopes also defeated the 3rd seeded DIXIE STATE RED STORM and the 2nd seeded SONOMA STATE SEAWOLVES. Congratulations to all these teams as they move on to the 2013 D2 College World Series!

I have been surfing on-line more than three hours as of late, yet I never discovered any interesting article like yours. It is pretty price enough for me. Personally, if all site owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you did, the net might be much more useful than ever before. “We are not retreating – we are advancing in another Direction.” by Douglas MacArthur.
I gotta favorite this internet site it seems very beneficial very beneficial
