COLLEGE FOOTBALL: PRIVATEERS NAME ZACH STERLING ASSISTANT COACH

Maritime College PrivateersThe Maritime College football team and head coach Mickey Rehring announced the addition of Zach Sterling to the coaching staff as an Assistant Coach and Offensive Line Coach on August 1. Sterling will also serve as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the athletic department.

I’d like to thank Coach Rehring and the Director of Athletics, Kris Schnatz, for the opportunity to coach here at Maritime College,” said Sterling. “I am excited to help continue the success and tradition of Maritime Football and to be back in New York coaching the game I love.” Continue reading →

MID-SOUTH CONFERENCE EXPANDS TO TWELVE TEAMS

Mid-South ConferenceThe NAIA’s Mid-South Conference announced that it will add three more teams for the 2020-2021 season, bringing the league’s total number of teams to twelve.

Fans of the old Trans-South Conference will be delighted to hear that the three teams will be the Martin Methodist College Redhawks, the Freed-Hardeman University Lions and the Bethel (TN) University Wildcats. Continue reading →

WNBA RESULTS

LVAcesACES WIN SECOND IN A ROW – The LAS VEGAS ACES took it on the road against the MINNESOTA LYNX yesterday.
