BAD MOVIES PAGE UPDATED

I just added a review of the bizarre, unbelievably incoherent movie called The Dragon Lives Again. It’s from 1977 and it is one weird romp through the heart of Bad Movie Purgatory. Just click here: https://glitternight.com/bad-movies/    Entries are in alphabetical order.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COLLEGE FOOTBALL!

It was on November 6th, 1869, that Rutgers and Princeton played the very first college football game “on the banks of the Raritan” as the Rutgers fight song says. One of the things I love about college football is how far back its history goes. It feels odd to think that Ulysses S Grant was in the White House when that game was played. If his cabinet members had gotten involved in the sport I’m sure they would have masterminded cheating and recruitment scandals that make today’s revelations look pretty mild by comparison! A pack of larcenous, dishonest weasels in the White House, just like today! The more things change, the more they stay the same! Here’s to 141 years of college football and shallow, clueless  figureheads in the Presidency!
