SNARKY JAY: TERRIFIC MOVIE REVIEW CHANNEL

snarky jayHere at Balladeer’s Blog people who can make me laugh are my favorite kind of people! YT reviewer Snarky Jay, as she calls herself, is entertaining, engaging and hilarious with her reviews.

She not only delivers concise positive or negative takes on films and streaming shows, but she also punctures the pomposity of the privileged one percenters of Hollywood.

  4. Well reviewed! She is looking great 👍 slim figure and very attractive well shared 💐

  5. Half in, she’d made her point quite well, honestly and, to the chagrin of Hollywood Democrat Loonies, irrefutably. I can though, only listen to so much contrived toilet lip. Now, I consort with a fair number of sailors, plumbers, farmers, mechanics, WPers, and one or two doctors, and we, granted freedom from spouses and sigoths, do revert to toilet talk and [imagine it!] worse as you might understand it, vulgarity. But when a conversant as I’ve described says or writes “m&^%*&g,” or “g%$^%d,” or “a^%$wipe,” it is natural effervescense and only rarely repeated to the point of nausea. Once: great, well emphasized. Twice: okay I hear ya, right on sister!. Thrice: Um maybe I could teach you some new phrases, just for variety and enrichment of your audience? Or, were I to watch another segment, would I learn that “balls” is her signature phrase?

Great posts as always. I have never heard of Snarky Jay before but your post has convinced me to give her reviews a look. Being a film critic, I always try to find like-minded people which I can relate to. I do follow certain critics on YouTube such as Chris Stuckmann who is my favourite film critic on the website. Video reviews are definitely entertaining to watch. I don’t find much time these days but I will definitely keep Snarky Jay in mind the next time I want to learn about a movie. Thanks for the suggestion.

This post brought to mind the amazing movie “Life Itself”. It’s a documentary which details the life of the celebrated film critic Roger Ebert. Ebert had a strong passion for writing reviews even in spite of his Cancer. An inspiring documentary worth checking out when you have the time.

    Here’s why I recommend it:
