By Halftime the Builders were clinging to a tight 33-30 lead over their opponents. After the break the Apprentice School eked out just a bit more separation from the Scots to win the game by a final score of 73-68. Donovan Means led the Builders to the title with 19 points.
DIVISION TWO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – This game pitted the PENN STATE AT WILKES-BARRE LIONS against the UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI AT CLERMONT COUGARS.
At the midpoint the favored Cougars were on top 42-34, but the Lions roared back from there. When the dust settled PSU-Wilkes-Barre had triumphed 83-79. Twenty points from Jalen Willis led the Lions in scoring, while his teammate Teequan Holley logged a Double Double of 17 points and 11 rebounds.
(Shoutout to certain cat owners who like seeing teams with cat-like logos win.)
Given your tremendous variety of interests, your expertise in each, and the amount of research necessary to compile your offerings, I am quite glad I do not have to work as hard as you must to process the number of newsletters, journals, broadcasts, and grapevines you surely must to stay abreast in each field. Then, I’ve thought for a while Balladman is not one person but a widely-placed team of researchers. Fess up.
Ha! Nope, I’m just one guy. Rather than subscribe to places that wind up sending you too many updates I usually just go to various sites on my own when I can squeeze in the time.
Zooks! I do the same! Actually follow only 11 sites. (Sh-h-h-h.) And those them what post once (rarely tooth or thripple a day). Too many posts in one day clutter up my WP reader, though of late the WP reader is fashitsky anyway. Does this mean we are going to hell? [Father forgive me for I have sinned really really big.]
I’ve a list of bloggers who’ve fancied my tickle. Once every neverwhile I’ll go down the list of saved reader URLs to catch up, focusing as I can then on the bloggers singular style, skip “Lookit me! Lookit me! LOOKIT ME!!” or “buy my book,” or “Here’s the book I’m reading,” or “I been honored by posting on >>Disconnected Reads<< whyncha clock over and stumble through that site's confusion?" posts.
[Sigh.] Yeah. Surely I'm hellbound.
Blasphemer! Just kidding. I understand completely. You’d drive yourself nuts trying to keep up with every single bit of info every minute of the day.
Great posts as always. I have no interest at all in basketball but always find posts you have written enjoyable to read. This one brought to mind memorable movies about basketball I admired. For instance, it reminded me about the movie “Uncut Gems”. A crime thriller, it tells the story of a stressed out jeweller selling shiny diamond jewelry to basketball players. Not a huge fan of Adam Sandler but he gives one of his best performances in this movie.
Here’s why it’s worth watching:
I appreciate it! I’m not an Adam Sandler fan but I will check out your rview.
