Sadly, while the promises and policies of Sir Loose Cannon are more acceptable (yea, verily, almost sane) than those of his loyal opposition, he is, well, a loose cannon; his antics bring disrespect [in the eyes of his countrymen and the world] to the office of Grand Theft White House and to the US of A. He should withdraw to a position of political commentator (which he can maintain even after the Kleptocrat machine manages to incarcerate his butt. Step aside, Sir Bouffant, so we can get about the business of finding other than boobs, idiots, crooks, and cretins to run in 2024 for the title of Supreme Clown.
Always good to hear from you, buddy! I respect your opinions but I disagree, as I’m sure you expected, with the noton that he should withdraw and with the notion that he is the one bringing disrespect to our disgusting political system. I feel the real problem lies with the corrupt system inflicting political prosecutions on the opposition leader. (And remember, for what it’s worth, while I support Trump I think it’s clear that they have no intention of letting him in the White House again and they don’t care how blatant they have to be about it.) And I don’t think it’s “antics” to run for the presidency in the face of garbage accusations clearly intended to blunt a campaign that has a lot of support. Nothing is more disgraceful than what America’s cesspool of a system has tried to do to the only president in decades who kept us out of any new wars, brought back jobs that the establishment politicians had told us “ain’t coming back” and was the best president for the working class and the poor of all colors during my lifetime. His efforts to secure the southern border and the way he saved the loved ones of many of us from being unable to afford their diabetes and other medication deserves appreciation, too. Big Pharma never forgave him for that.
And let’s face it, it is IMPOSSIBLE to embarrass our system, which the Democrats and Republicans have turned into such a blatant joke. Do you not think Biden and his regime’s in-your-face criminality is at least as bad as and probably worse than having a “loose cannon” who doesn’t play by the rigged rules of our joke of a system? By suggesting that if our gangster government makes a scene and throws hysterical fits about a candidate who’s not a “made man” in their white-collar criminal mob then the candidate who is not a “made man” is the problem then you are giving up any hope of EVER having candidates who aren’t on the take getting into office.
Backing away from challenging our corrupt establishment is part of what got us here in the first place. The Party politicizes education? Hey, you’re saying it’s better to just withdraw from the fight rather than risk “unseemly” confrontations. The Party politicizes broadcast media and the news business itself except for isolated outposts? Just withdraw rather than risk “unseemly” confrontations. The Party politicizes social media? Just withdraw rather than risk “unseemly” confrontations. The Party politicizes the judicial system? Just withdraw rather than risk “unseemly” confrontations. The Party harasses speakers in public and on campuses if their politics aren’t approved by that same Party? Withdraw rather than risk “unseemly” confrontations. Yeah, shying away from calling out the establishment even in the face of their unabashed sleaze and corruption has not proven to be a worthwhile strategy. Give me a “loose cannon” who calls out the system over anyone who goes along to get along with the criminals in office.
And under this approach you’re calling for, we will NEVER get any candidates who aren’t part of the white-collar “gang”. All the establishment has to do is throw some wild accusations at them and unfair obstacles to their campaign, then pretend that the candidate’s legitimate outrage is “bringing disrespect” to a system that DESERVES NO respect, and then you’re saying it is the candidate who should feel embarrassed and withdraw, not the people abusing their positions. And hey, no hostility meant in this long reply, you know I value your opinion but I think the time for not calling out our Royal Criminals has long passed. Besides, when will we ever again get a candidate with enough money to fight the system and with a thick enough skin to endure the system’s attacks on them? And their media outlets will make ANYONE who opposes them seem like they’re the problem, not them.
And P.S. – I will say again it is clear they won’t let him win, so it’s playing with house money to cheer on the way he causes our corrupt elected (and appointed) officials to prove he is right about them on a daily basis.
