While by no means a fan of Trump, I live more in fear of continued Democratic [Party] rule [as opposed to a miraculous reelection of Trump]. I’ll take a loose cannon lunatic Connie over a corrupt senile Libbie. Never before have I experienced more hatred within our country than now, fostered and promoted by the likes of Harris, Ilhan, and AOC. That their own party would condone actions and rhetoric of the Club and a sitting Veep for starters is reprehensible, flies in direct conflict with all the good Americas stands for.
Americans still stand for good. It is political reality [the Connie and Libbie parties expressly] and life-long bastions of corruption like corporate executives, religious bigots, and the unfathomable “higher” education system that DOES NOT represent decent American values.
A year before the next ballot travesty I am already trying to determine the least fatal of two equally heinous alternatives. Only having failed to discover a way to prohibit either sorry possibility from being realized. It is my supplication to any Supreme willing to listen that Trump be imprisoned precluding his candidacy moments before an embarrassingly obvious revelation that Sleepy and Kammie are both as criminally corrupt as we expect and thus barred from holding office. If my Supreme can go this far, surely it is not asking too much that a genuine constitutional crisis be averted by write-in candidates garnering sufficient electoral votes to keep congressional cronies from yet again denying the intent of majority America.
I can understand the conflicted feelings. If it’s any consolation, I don’t think the Uniparty will let Trump win. They’ve made it clear that they don’t care how blatant they are about it. I support him, and I spent so many years backing Third-Party candidates that I vote for the candidates I’m actually enthusiastic about, and don’t care about winning.
As for arrests, I disagree. I have always written here that it’s a line that should not be crossed given how corrupt the Democrats and Republicans are – there’s NO way it would not be abused, as we’re seeing now. And I apply that even to political figures I despise like George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
Anyway, yes, I back Trump but I don’t think you have to worry about them letting him get reelected. As a minimum they’re counting on the appeals to their politicized prosecutions of him keeping him tied up until well after the 2024 election.
