Certainly the most scary truth hidden away here is that to recover from the corruption and subjugation of Democratic Party incumbancies is akin to excising a cancer wrapped around and through the heart. To effectively destroy the cancer, the heart would be damaged, no longer function, and end the life of the patient.
Sadly, you may be correct and I think that in part that is what the white-collar criminals are counting on – that fear of a change will make people willing to just turn a blind eye to governmental abuses and hope that things hold together until they personally pass away.
