RFKay starting to smell okay. DeSantiss? Not a fan save that he’s got balls and oddly sane ideas. And that the Jackass Party finds him such a marvie target is not really negative. I mean, Dems love to poke at someone else (also un-electable and why would anyone want to pursue that?) and if anything they keep his numbers “up.” [Hmm. Might be a method in that madness.] See, to my way of thinking [I think it’s “thinking”] Momma Repullican should sit Sonny Boy Loose Cannon down and explain where Repullicans might have a chance at regaining the Snow Castle if Sonny Cannon were to retire and endorse someone else [in an effort to unite the Pachyderms] against the greater [okay, “equivalent”] threat to the Unites States of ‘Murica.
I’m beginning to favor a single third-party candidate named “Nobody.” If Nobody wins the General, we do four years without a boob in the Snow Castle. Wait. No. That leaves Congers. Never mind.
I understand. I may not have made it clear that I’m certainly not a DeSantis fan, I was ridiculing the way that the people who run the Republican Party STILL don’t understand that no matter who they run, naturally the opposition will muddy them up and depict them as “the new Hitler.”. That’s why I was using the phrases for DeSantis that never-Trump people keep using about Trump, like putting him in the rear-view mirror, moving on from him, saying he can’t win the general election, and on and on.
I don’t believe that either Trump OR DeSantis or any other (R) will win in 2024. The Democrats always outdo the outdated Republicans at using their media outlets and the mudslinging won’t even begin in earnest until next year. That’s why I always dwell on alternate parties. The Democrats are out of control and out of their minds and a viable opposition party is needed, and the Republicans proved long ago they are NOT it.
Sadly, the Pachys with “no chance” and the Jackasses bound [barring natural events] to press the puppeteers and their marionette, Sleepy Joe, a third party at this point and lacking any real ground swell cannot attract votes to be viable. Jackasses and Dumbos know this, rely on this. Asses and Dumbos know that as divided as the country is, only entrenched big money has a shot at elected office at the national level. Even Dumbos, suspecting their immediate fate prefer that to an electorate able to oust criminal elements – which is for all intents and purposes, the lot of them. Groundswell is the only way. That can’t happen in two or ten years, working up from town and village offices, to city and county offices, to state offices, before effecting national office.
Prospects scare the living snot out of me. If every American were afraid, a groundswell might work. Otherwise, nope. NeuGens like this disarray, aren’t smart enough to see the real dangers [to themselves, their freedoms, or society] in letting things continue. So long as they have their fantasy football, the Kardashians, Netflix, Disney, Domino Pizza, and the NFL, they are pigs in shit.
Absolutely correct on all counts. I often hope the situation here in the U.S. at least serves as a warning to other countries about the dangers of having only two viable political parties. Once that happens, there is no longer true accountability or realistic electoral options. The white-collar criminals of one party can – no matter how bad the opposition party is – taunt the voters with their “What’cha gonna do? Vote for some third party candidate who has no chance?”
My head is spinning.
Yep, the corruption from one side and the fecklessness from the other side is mind-bending.
