NCAA DIVISION TWO
FIRST SEMIFINAL – The NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE BEARCATS fought it out with the BLACK HILLS STATE YELLOW JACKETS in this game.
Suffocating defense from the Bearcats was the story of the game as Northwest Missouri State led 36-26 at Halftime. From there the Bearcats kept Black Hills State at arm’s length to win by a final score of 70-57. Luke Waters led the victors with 17 points while his teammate Wes Dreamer notched a Double-Double of 11 points and 12 rebounds.
SECOND SEMIFINAL – The AUGUSTA UNIVERSITY JAGUARS took the court against the INDIANA UNIVERSITY IN PENNSYLVANIA CRIMSON HAWKS.
This was a tale of two Halves, as the teams were knotted up at 32-32 by the midpoint of the game. After the break the Jaguars dominated the Crimson Hawks on their way to a comfortable 76-61 triumph. Augusta U’s Tyshaun Crawford led the way for his team with a Double-Double of 25 points and 14 rebounds.
NJCAA DIVISION TWO
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – “Win one for Forresting365” was apparently the motto of the SOUTH SUBURBAN COLLEGE BULLDOGS as they clashed with the DAVIDSON-DAVIE COLLEGE STORM for the NJCAA2 crown.
The Bulldogs held a 42-32 advantage come Halftime and from there they managed a bit more separation from the Storm to win the game 79-63. Twenty-nine points from Damarco Minor led South Suburban College. * THE BULLDOGS ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS OF NJCAA DIVISION TWO *
