COLLEGE FOOTBALL RESULTS FROM OCTOBER 31st

Arizona Christian Univ helmet GOODCOMEBACK KIDS – The ARIZONA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY FIRESTORM traveled to face the SOUTHWESTERN ASSEMBLIES OF GOD UNIVERSITY LIONS yesterday. The Lions led 14-7 in the 1st Quarter and 31-14 by Halftime. The Firestorm blazed back from there, going on top 35-31 to end the 3rd Quarter before winning the game 41-37. ACU remains undefeated.

Morningside MustangsDEFENDING CHAMPS SURVIVE A SCARE – The 2-time defending National Champions – the MORNINGSIDE COLLEGE MUSTANGS – visited the DORDT COLLEGE DEFENDERS. A 14-10 Mustangs edge at the Half became a 35-23 advantage in the 3rd Quarter before Morningside College had to hold on tight against the Defenders in the 4th. The Mustangs improved to 6-0 with a 35-30 victory. DC fell to 5-2.

Wayland BaptistTEXAS-OKLAHOMA CLASH – The WAYLAND BAPTIST UNIVERSITY PIONEERS played host to the OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE STATE AGGIES (should be Okies). The Pioneers led 19-17 at the midpoint, the Aggies went out in front 24-22 to end the 3rd Quarter, and Wayland Baptist U bounced back in the 4th to win out 29-24.

Bethel (KS) ThreshersSHUTOUTS – The BETHEL COLLEGE THRESHERS took it on the road against the BETHANY COLLEGE SWEDES and clobbered them 38-0   ###   Meanwhile the KEISER UNIVERSITY SEAHAWKS won 42-0 at the WEBBER INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY WARRIORS   ###   And the AVILA UNIVERSITY AVALANCHE obliterated the TABOR COLLEGE BLUE JAYS 59-0.

Waldorf Warriors helmetDEFENSIVE EPIC – The WALDORF UNIVERSITY WARRIORS paid a visit to the PRESENTATION COLLEGE SAINTS (should be Angels). The Saints kept the Warriors off the scoreboard for 3 Quarters, leading them 3-0 at Halftime and 6-0 in the 3rd. In the 4th Waldorf U came alive for a 13-6 victory.

Evangel CrusadersFOURTH QUARTER SURGE – The EVANGEL UNIVERSITY CRUSADERS traveled to face the MISSOURI VALLEY COLLEGE VIKINGS on Saturday. The Crusaders saw a 20-18 edge at the Half fall to just 26-25 to end the 3rd Quarter. Evangel University exploded in the 4th to win it 47-33.  

Ottawa (KS) BravesROAD WARRIORS – The OTTAWA UNIVERSITY BRAVES found themselves on the road against the UNIVERSITY OF SAINT MARY SPIRES and defeated them 35-17   ### The DICKINSON STATE BLUE HAWKS won 26-14 at the VALLEY CITY STATE VIKINGS   ###   And the BENEDICTINE COLLEGE RAVENS crushed their hosts the MIDAMERICA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY PIONEERS 43-14.

Northeast Mississippi College Tigers NEWHAPPY SENIOR DAY – The GRAND VIEW UNIVERSITY VIKINGS (should be the Zebras) marked Senior Day with a game against the GRACELAND UNIVERSITY YELLOW JACKETS. Grand View University folded, spindled and mutilated the Yellow Jackets to the tune of SEVENTY to NOTHING.

Dakota Wesleyan Tigers helmet NEWHOME STANDS – The DAKOTA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY BLUE TIGERS welcomed the BRIAR CLIFF UNIVERSITY CHARGERS and defeated them 26-7    ###    And the NORTHWESTERN (IA) COLLEGE RED RAIDERS spanked the MIDLAND UNIVERSITY WARRIORS 43-14.

Kansas Wesleyan helmet NEWBACK ON TRACK – The storied KANSAS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY COYOTES got back in the win column after a few unexpected defeats. They visited the MCPHERSON COLLEGE BULLDOGS (should be Mastiffs) and trailed them 21-14 come Halftime. From there the Coyotes outscored the Bulldogs 27-6 for a 41-27 triumph.

Saint Thomas FL Bobcats helmetCATS ON TOP – The SAINT THOMAS UNIVERSITY BOBCATS (should be Tomcats) logged a 24-13 road victory at the AVE MARIA UNIVERSITY GYRENES    ###    And the BAKER UNIVERSITY WILDCATS crushed the visiting CENTRAL METHODIST UNIVERSITY EAGLES 40-7.

West Texas A&MUSCAA GAME OF THE WEEK – The newest team in the USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association) – the NORTH AMERICAN UNIVERSITY STALLIONS – visited the NCAA Division Two team, the WEST TEXAS A&M BUFFALOES. The Buffaloes manhandled the Stallions to the tune of 56-0. NAU is now 3-3.

Nebraska-KearneyLOPING TO A VICTORY – Meanwhile, in D2 vs D2 action, the UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA AT KEARNEY LOPERS took it on the road against the PITTSBURG (KS) STATE GORILLAS. The Gorillas were on top 7-3 in the 1st Quarter but by Halftime the Lopers led 10-7. That became a 17-14 UNK edge to end the 3rd Quarter and ultimately a 31-26 victory for the Lopers.
