FIRST SEMIFINAL – The 2 seeds – the MAYVILLE STATE COMETS – squared off against the 3rd seeded VITERBO UNIVERSITY V-HAWKS. The Comets had taken a 41-29 advantage by Halftime, then kept the V-Hawks at arm’s length the rest of the way for a 75-62 triumph. Max Cooper led the way for Mayville State with his 20 points.
SECOND SEMIFINAL – In this game the 5th seeded WALDORF UNIVERSITY WARRIORS clashed with the top seeds – the BELLEVUE UNIVERSITY BRUINS. The Bruins held a 34-31 edge at the Half, but the Warriors came from behind to win the game 68-66. Demitrius Martin tossed in 27 points to lead Waldorf University in this Upset.

REGION 303: FIRST SEMIFINAL – The 3 seeds – the HERKIMER COLLEGE GENERALS – took the court against the 2nd seeded ONONDAGA COLLEGE LAZERS. The Generals were all over the Lazers, leading 35-20 at the break on their way to a 68-48 smackdown victory. Shykell Brown’s 21 points led Herkimer College.
REGION 303: SECOND SEMIFINAL – The top seeded MOHAWK VALLEY COLLEGE HAWKS (should be the Mohawks) faced the 4 seeds – the HUDSON VALLEY COLLEGE VIKINGS. The Hawks led the Vikings 43-36 come Halftime, then got some more breathing room from there to win it 96-83. Jason Primus notched a Double-Double of 25 points and 14 rebounds to lead Mohawk Valley College.
REGION 304: FIRST SEMIFINAL – This game pitted the 2 seeds – the RICHLAND COLLEGE THUNDERDUCKS – against the 3rd seeded NORTH LAKE COLLEGE BLAZERS. The Thunderducks had managed a 39-36 edge by the Half, then exploded after the break for a 91-72 triumph. Donovan Souter led Richland College with THIRTY-TWO points.
REGION 304: SECOND SEMIFINAL – The top seeded EASTFIELD COLLEGE HARVESTERS did battle with the 4 seeds – the CEDAR VALLEY COLLEGE SUNS. The Suns had the Harvesters worried at the break with their 41-37 advantage, but Eastfield College turned things around from there for an 84-80 comeback win. D’Angelo Smith’s 20 points led the Harvesters.
REGION 315: FIRST SEMIFINAL – The HOSTOS COLLEGE CAYMANS took on the BRONX COLLEGE BRONCOS in this game. Halftime brought a comfortable 46-34 lead for the Caymans, who held off their opponents from there to win out 98-89. Reggie Quezada scored THIRTY-FOUR points to lead Hostos College to victory.
REGION 315: SECOND SEMIFINAL – The NASSAU COUNTY COLLEGE LIONS thrashed it out with the DUTCHESS COLLEGE FALCONS yesterday. A close 40-35 Lions advantage at the midpoint of the game turned into a rout in the 2nd Half. Ultimately Nassau County College defeated the Falcons 79-62. Twenty points from Sahdique Watkins led the Lions.
