NAIA DIVISION ONE
FIRST SEMIFINAL – The GEORGETOWN (KY) COLLEGE TIGERS and the WILLIAM CAREY UNIVERSITY CRUSADERS started things off. The Tigers seized control and by Halftime they were clobbering the Crusaders 42-24. From there Georgetown College simply had to keep WCU at arm’s length, which they did for a 94-83 triumph. Chris Coffey led the Tigers with his Double Double of THIRTY-TWO points and 12 rebounds.
SECOND SEMIFINAL – Wrapping up the NAIA’s Final Four action last night was this game pitting the CARROLL COLLEGE (MT) FIGHTING SAINTS against the LEWIS-CLARK STATE WARRIORS. The Fighting Saints were suffocating the Warriors with their defense, and by the break held a 31-21 advantage. In the 2nd Half Carroll College mustered a tad more separation to with the game 66-55. The Fighting Saints were led by Match Burnham, who notched a Double Double of 27 points and 10 rebounds.
Georgetown took it all again!
