DYSTOPIA NATION: DEMOCRATS PERSECUTE VOTERS OF COLOR WHO LEAVE THE PARTY

More dystopian musings from possible futures.

” In the final third of the 20th Century the speakers and money people of the Democratic Party ( which spawned the Liberal fanatics just as the Republican Party spawned the Conservative fanatics ) began developing a very proprietary, some would say condescending, attitude toward African Americans. The 1960s generation of American Liberals in particular had often treated the lives and history of African Americans as a kind of hobby.

These patronizing dilettantes originally demonstrated a protective, or at least supportive, attitude toward African Americans, who in turn rewarded the Democratic Party’s candidates with almost unanimous support.

However, as the decades wore on and African Americans had greater opportunities open up to them many of them began making up their own minds about what political attitudes they would embrace and what political candidates they would support. This did not sit well with the Democratic Party’s power brokers and the nascent Liberal fanatics in their ranks.

A large portion of the American Left’s power structure rested on the myth that all African Americans were still Liberal Democrats. The mere existence of increasing numbers of African Americans choosing their own political affiliation was a massive threat to the left’s decades-old propaganda advantages: their false claim that they and they alone represented the wishes of all minority groups and their incessant accusations of racism aimed at all dissenting voices.

The whitebread Democratic Party leadership and the African American demagogues they used as alleged spokespeople for “all African Americans” began a campaign of harassment against any African Americans who declared their political independence from the oppression and condescension of the Democratic Party.

As time wore on and the 21st Century rolled along this harassment increased and intensified in direct proportion to the number of freethinking African Americans who resented the whitebread Liberals of the Democratic Party establishment and broke away from the fold.

In the ugly tradition of strikebreakers of the past the Liberal fanatics began employing roving mobs of African Americans to use violence and intimidation to still the growing dissent.

These mobs, which were really just functionaries of the Democratic Party despite their public claim that they represented “the African American people”, burned down the homes and vandalized the properties of any and all African Americans who expressed defiance toward Democratic Party oppression. 

With the outbreak of the Second Civil War the leaders of those mobs were absorbed into the armed forces of the Liberal side and organized into squadrons of “Sharptonistas”. The origin of the name Sharptonistas is still disputed, but most sources now agree that they were named after a noted hatemonger of the late 20th Century and early 21st Century.

Though part of the Liberal government’s official armed forces the Sharptonistas saw no formal combat. They were employed mostly as an occupying force in those areas of the country which were held by the Liberal forces and which contained a high “minority” population.

The Sharptonistas thus served the same purpose in wartime that Democratic Party organizations like the NAACP had served in peacetime: they simply enforced the will of their Liberal commanders while posing as protectors and spokespeople for “the African American community.” 

The brave souls who stood up to the Sharptonistas were branded race traitors by the Liberal government’s propaganda affiliates. Claiming to represent the REAL voices of the African American community the Sharptonistas brutally raped and murdered countless thousands of African Americans who rebelled in any way against the Liberal government. Liberal propaganda outlets often blamed the massacres on white Conservative guerillas.

As in the Spanish Civil War a century earlier both the left-wing and right-wing fanatics excelled at blaming the other side for the atrocities they themselves committed. ( *** See this book’s appendix for some very early examples of this Liberal and Conservative practice in the Gabrielle Giffords shooting and Arthur Bremer’s attempted assassination of George Wallace.)

Though in many cases this tableau of accusations and counter- accusations has muddied the waters to the point where it is nearly impossible to assess blame the Sharptonistas were so flamboyant and so flagrantly unashamed of their massacres they have been conclusively tied to the nearly genocidal black on black violence in cities throughout the Eastern Seaboard.

One of their favorite means of mass-execution was to herd African Americans who resisted the Liberal government’s edicts into condemned buildings (dubbed “Uncle Tom Roach Motels” by the Sharptonistas ). Those buildings were then demolished via controlled implosions, burying the unfortunate victims inside under tons of rubble and debris.

Some of the trapped victims would linger for days before dying, accompanied by the taunts of the celebrating Sharptonistas. Long after the war skeletons of these “Uncle Tom Roach Motel” victims were unearthed by the hundreds from dozens of sites in major cities from Atlanta to Philadelphia.”

THE NEW COLONIALISM – Here’s another situation to embellish and extrapolate from in standard Dystopian Literature format. It’s the way that isolated, heavily-populated regions of pompous snobs, cowardly hypocrites and hilariously pretentious asses consider themselves the rulers of the entire rest of the nation.

Part of the inspiration for this installment came from the way Ben Franklin observed that – leading up to the Revolutionary War – even everyday citizens in Great Britain would snobbishly refer to Americans as “OUR subjects in the Colonies.”

That possibly apocryphal account easily puts one in mind of the snobbish way that Democrats pompously think they know how everyone else should live their lives. And if the people they consider to be THEIR “subjects” don’t agree, well, in the words of the fictional Darth Vader “Then they should be MADE to agree!” That’s the Democrats’ mantra. (I’m an Independent voter.)

Anyway, in our fictional future for this time around, the isolated areas of Democrat Supremacists or “Blue Meanies” began to panic as they felt their tyrannical grip on their “Colonies” slipping.

As far back as the early 21st Century the Democrat Supremacists had formed masked hate groups like Antifa – really KLAN-tifa – to inflict violence on dissenters.

The Dem-Sup control of the media, internet and film-making ensured that the only opinions that got wide-spread exposure were the opinions shared by millionaires. Dem-Sup contempt for the working class and the poor grew in direct proportion to the way in which the working class and the poor rejected the “One True Worldview” being forced upon them by Dem-Sup plutocrats.    

In the minds of the Democrat Supremacists America was to be a country BY millionaires, OF millionaires and FOR millionaires … and millionaires alone. The peasants dwelling in streets filled with waste matter like in San Francisco became less and less human to the Dem-Sup oligarchs.  

Here at Balladeer’s Blog I write plenty of items about myths from around the world. I often mention that my blog posts about figures from the American West are along the same lines to me since I think the exaggerated tales of whatever their real-life stories were originate the same way that many religious fables do: the usual human tendency toward superstition and embellishment.

Dystopian literature is similar but instead of embellishing figures and events from the past this type of fiction involves taking contemporary problems and/ or trends and extrapolating them into larger than life menaces in the near or far future.

Soylent Green did it with overpopulation and food shortages, One Blade of Grass did it with environmental issues and Orwell’s 1984 did it with totalitarian political forces which still threaten to use his nightmarish novel as their road map. Countless other examples could be cited.   

THE TECHNO-TYRANTS OF SILICON VALLEY – The modern-day versions of the disgusting old Robber Barons might well be the corporate fascists aka techno-fascists in assorted tech industries, not just regarding Silicon Valley but also  privacy-violating rich pigs at Facebook and elsewhere.

In fact, you could make the case that people like Mark “Skippy” Zuckerberg and his fellow corporate fascists are even worse since I don’t recall bloated rich pigs like E.H. Harriman or Cornelius Vanderbilt trying to police other people’s every thought, word and deed. The invasive and ever-expanding tentacular reach of techno-fascists or in this fictional case Techno-Tyrants would make these villains a very credible threat to political freedom and freedom of expression.

In recent years outfits like Twitter, Facebook and others even made public noises about banning customers based on their conduct UNRELATED TO THOSE UTILITIES! Can you imagine the old, old Ma Bell monopoly cutting off people’s phone service because their operators caught those users discussing voting for political candidates disapproved of by Ma Bell’s upper echelons or expressing opinions frowned upon by Ma Bell?

Even worse, places like Google and others have made it firing offenses to be caught holding opinions at odds with the one percenters and bloated rich pigs who run those tech-related outfits.

For the fictional Techno-Tyrants of this blog post it’s a quick jump to depicting such abusive totalitarians working in tandem with an oppressive government. They could leave citizens unable to access the internet or their various accounts or medical records until they recant any statements or opinions frowned upon by the Techno-Tyrants of Silicon Valley.

With Silicon Valley’s California location and given California’s periodic noises about seceding from the U.S. the fictional dystopian future pondered in this blog post could feature the Golden State already its own separate nation. The country of California could be a dictatorship led by a scientifically-preserved fossil like Jerry Brown, kept alive only through blood transfusions or organ and tissue transplants or other treatments that sacrifice the young.    

Depending on the type of story being written California might be a hostile nation using the “advanced” science of its Techno-Tyrants to prey on other countries, including the former U.S. Hacking and other such actions might be its major source of revenue, making it a virtual Pirate State or Criminal State if you think Pirate State sounds too romantic.

California’s growing tendency to be populated by just the very rich and the very poor could also be embellished in this fictional dystopian setting. The Techno-Tyrants of Silicon Valley might be depicted living spoiled lives behind the ever-higher walls of their estates, ignoring the suffering poor. The parallels with old forms of feudalism would slide right into any story.
