DAY ONE, GAME ONE: Starting things off for the NAIA was this game between the 10th seeded MASTER’S UNIVERSITY MUSTANGS and the 7 seeds – the UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND ARTS OF OKLAHOMA DROVERS. After a scoreless 1st Inning the Mustangs piled up a 4-0 advantage in the 2nd. By the 4th Inning the Drovers were still chasing The Master’s University in a 5-3 game. The Mustangs accumulated 2 more runs along the way for a 7-3 upset win. Pitcher Jason Karkenny got the W.
DAY ONE, GAME TWO: This game pitted the 6 seeds – the MISSOURI BAPTIST UNIVERSITY SPARTANS – against the 3rd seeded OKLAHOMA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY EAGLES. Neither team scored until the 3rd Inning, when the Spartans grabbed a 4-0 lead. The Eagles cut it to a 4-3 score by the end of the 4th Inning but produced no more runs. Missouri Baptist University added 1 more in the 5th and rode that to a 5-3 upset of Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Michael Syrett threw for the win.
DAY ONE, GAME THREE: The 9th seeded WILLIAM CAREY UNIVERSITY CRUSADERS did battle with the 8 seeds – the HOPE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY ROYALS. The Crusaders led by counts of 1-0, 3-0 and 4-1 in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Innings, respectively. The Royals tied things up at 4-4 in the 4th and the 5th Inning ended in a 7-7 deadlock. Neither team scored again til the 8th as William Carey University eked out a 9-8 edge. From there the Crusaders won the game 11-8 for Pitcher Lane Fazende.
DAY ONE, GAME FOUR: And this full day of upsets came to a close as the 5th seeded Defending National Champions of NAIA baseball – the LEWIS-CLARK STATE WARRIORS – faced the 4 seeds – the KEISER UNIVERSITY SEAHAWKS. The Warriors never trailed in this game, leading the Seahawks 2-0 by the 2nd Inning, 2-1 by the 3rd and 4-1 by the 5th. A 7-2 William Carey University advantage in the 7th Inning ultimately became a 7-4 triumph behind the pitching of Connor Brogdon.

DAY THREE, GAME ONE: The top seeds – the OKLAHOMA BAPTIST UNIVERSITY BISON – squared off against the 8th seeded BLUEFIELD COLLEGE RAMBLING RAMS. After a scoreless 1st Inning the tally was knotted up at 1-1 in the 2nd. The Rambling Rams would not score again but the Bison added runs in the 4th, 6th and 7th Innings for a THIRTEEN to ONE massacre. Zach Fowler pitched the entire game for Oklahoma Baptist University.
DAY THREE, GAME TWO – Up next the 2nd seeded EMMANUEL COLLEGE LIONS took on the 7 seeds – the OAKLAND CITY UNIVERSITY MIGHTY OAKS. The Lions held a 2-1 edge to end the 1st Inning, and that became 3-1 in the 3rd and 3-2 in the 5th. The Mighty Oaks actually took a 6-3 lead in the top of the 7th Inning but gave up TEN runs to Emmanuel College in the bottom of that same Inning. It was all but over then as the Lions won it 14-7. Pitcher Zach Wells picked up the W.
DAY THREE, GAME THREE: The 5th seeded CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY TIGERS did battle with the 4 seeds – the ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE EAGLES. The Eagles went up 4-0 in the 2nd Inning, with the Tigers cutting that lead down to 4-3 in the 4th. Things got knotted up at 4-4 in the 5th Inning and in the 6th Campbellsville University raced out to a 9-4 advantage. That set the pattern for the rest of the game, which the Tigers won 13-4 behind Pitcher Malik Evans.
The Semifinals will see the Oklahoma Baptist University Bison take on the Emmanuel College Lions and the Campbellsville University Tigers face the Southwestern Christian University Eagles.
