TOP 25 UPSETS – NCAA DIVISION 3 – The unranked CARTHAGE RED MEN welcomed the number 20 team in the nation, the WHEATON THUNDER, and defeated them in a 62-61 game for the ages    ###    The homestanding WASHINGTON AND LEE GENERALS came out on top 62-58 against the 22nd ranked GUILFORD QUAKERS    ###    … And at number 25 the RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE ANCHORMEN survived a tough road game against the PLYMOUTH STATE PANTHERS, emerging with a 57-54 victory.

D3 COLLEGE HOCKEY RESULTS – The biggest matchup of the weekend saw the 6th ranked UTICA PIONEERS on the road against the number 2 HOBART STATESMEN. CENTURY CLUB – The INDIANA EAST RED WOLVES ended the 4 game winning streak of the ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE EAGLES with their 101-85 victory yesterday   ###   The TENNESSEE WESLEYAN COLLEGE BULLDOGS plucked the feathers off the REINHARDT EAGLES by a score of 110-73   ###   The WHITTIER POETS put up 103 to the OCCIDENTAL TIGERS’ 76 to improve to 8-9 0verall, 4-4 in conference play   ###   The CORTLAND STATE RED DRAGONS melted down the BROCKPORT STATE GOLDEN EAGLES  102-83   ###   … And the HAMPDEN- SYDNEY TIGERS defeated the EASTERN MENNONITE UNIVERSITY ROYALS in a 104-94 clash.
