Comment: Snead State was founded in 1898 as a seminary school, hence their sports teams having the rare name Parsons.

Wonderful posts as always. I don’t normally take any interest in college sports teams but as always found your posts engaging to read. It brought to mind great movies about cool named sports teams which I have seen and loved. For instance, it reminded me of the film “Moneyball”. Released in 2011, Bennett Miller’s movie offered a powerful portrait of a cool named baseball team. One of my favourite movies about sports teams of all-time. Brad Pitt at his absolute best in his most underrated role. It’s definitely worth watching if you take a strong interest in baseball and have always enjoyed playing the game.
