Logged, thank you sir!
Love the fact you support the lower divisions of college athletics! These men and women are true student athletes! I’ve adopted a couple of lower divisions schools, Slipper Rock, Colgate and Angelo State. I had a scholarship offer from Angelo State to play tennis. I didn’t accept it but I’ve been a fan since.
One of my favorite games back in the day was Holy Cross VS Colgate. And because a friend of mine graduated Yale, the Yale VS Harvard game is a must watch game also. Can’t forget Slippery Rock VS Indiana U of Pa!
Enough babbling. Looking forward to the coming football season. By the way I follow the U of Denver in college hockey and Alaska-Anchorage granted they’re D1 in hockey. Babbling again. Have a great Sunday!
Fantastic to hear that! I agree, these players are authentic student athletes. Interesting to hear that about the offer from Angelo State! I’m a big fan of Yale vs Harvard, too, and loved the history surrounding graduates of both schools. I follow Alaska-Anchorage and U of North Dakota myself, but not Denver. Always good to hear from you!
Great posts as always. I rarely take any interest in college football. It’s a sport that I’ve never enjoyed playing. That being said, I do love movies that have depicted this sport. For instance, your post brings to mind the amazing movie “The Blind Side”. John Lee Hancock’s movie told the true story of a poor African-American teenager that became a successful football player. One of my favourite sports films of all-time. Definitely worth seeing if you are interested in college football.
Here’s why I recommend it strongly:
Thank you very much.
