NBA LEVEL SCORE – Both teams made the Century Club in this game between the NEW COLLEGE OF FLORIDA MIGHTY BANYANS and the visiting WARNER UNIVERSITY ROYALS. By Halftime the Mighty Banyans were on top 66-41. The Royals rallied after the break but fell short as NCF won 124-117. Charlie Yoder led the victors with a Double Double of FORTY-FOUR points and 10 rebounds. 

CENTURY CLUB – Teams scoring 100 or more points in Regulation: The HUNTINGTON UNIVERSITY FORESTERS won 109-60 at the GOSHEN COLLEGE MAPLE LEAFS  ##  The BUSHNELL UNIVERSITY BEACONS beat the EVERGREEN COLLEGE GEODUCKS 100-92  ##  The LSU-ALEXANDRIA GENERALS won 104-72 at the TEXAS COLLEGE STEERS  ##  And the DALTON STATE ROADRUNNERS downed the BREWTON-PARKER COLLEGE BARONS 115-87. 

DEFENSIVE EPIC – This game pitted the traveling CAL MARITIME ACADEMY KEELHAULERS against the SIMPSON UNIVERSITY REDHAWKS. The Keelhaulers held a 36-27 advantage at the Half then maintained enough distance from the Redhawks for a 64-59 triumph. Thirteen points from Jamal Frenchwood led this team effort.

HAPPY HOME STANDS – The INDIANA UNIVERSITY SOUTHEAST GRENADIERS played the WEST VIRGINIA TECH GOLDEN BEARS and defeated them 71-64   ###   Elsewhere, the VITERBO UNIVERSITY V-HAWKS won 65-61 over the HOLY CROSS (IN) SAINTS   ###   And the WASHINGTON ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY SHOCK beat the FISHER (MA) FALCONS 85-70.

ONE-POINT WONDER – The TRINITY CHRISTIAN COLLEGE TROLLS took the court against the visiting GOVERNORS STATE JAGUARS. The Jaguars seemed to be in charge at the midpoint as they led 40-23 but the Trolls came out of the locker room ready for a comeback. Trinity Christian College stormed from behind to win 65-64. Tylan Harris led the Trolls with 24 points.

WORKING OVERTIME – The COLUMBIA (SC) COLLEGE FIGHTING KOALAS downed their guests the KENTUCKY CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY KNIGHTS 86-78   ###   Meanwhile, the MONTREAT (NC) CAVALIERS used the extra session to beat the REINHARDT U. EAGLES 102-93   ###   And the FREED-HARDEMAN UNIVERSITY LIONS won 70-68 at the GEORGETOWN (KY) TIGERS.

NOTHING “MID” HERE – In this game the MID-AMERICA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY EVANGELS welcomed the NELSON UNIVERSITY LIONS (formerly Southwestern Assemblies of God University). The Evangels dominated on both sides of the ball and led 42-20 at Halftime. From there MACU kept the Lions at arm’s length for a 70-52 victory. Tarrence Gaines tossed in 14 points to lead the Evangels. 

ROAD WARRIORS – The PARK UNIVERSITY PIRATES visited the WILLIAM PENN UNIVERSITY STATESMEN and beat them 85-75   ###   Next, the UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE-SOUTHERN FIREHAWKS won 83-74 at the OAKWOOD UNIVERSITY AMBASSADORS   ###   And the HARRIS-STOWE STATE HORNETS downed the UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCE & PHARMACY IN ST. LOUIS EUTECTICS 98-74.

A RUMBLE AT RITTENMEYER CENTER – This game pitted the CALUMET (IN) CRIMSON WAVE against the visiting JUDSON UNIVERSITY EAGLES. A tight opening Half ended with Judson U. up 35-32 but after the break the Crimson Wave outscored the Eagles 48-38. Calumet College won 80-73 led by Jeanluc Wilson’s Double Double of 18 points and 10 rebounds.

WITHIN ONE DIGIT – The OREGON TECH HUSTLIN’ OWLS hosted the LEWIS-CLARK STATE WARRIORS and triumphed 74-66   ###   The GRACE COLLEGE LANCERS edged the MT. VERNON NAZARENE UNIVERSITY COUGARS 68-66   ###   And the BLUE MOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY TOPPERS won 82-76 at the ABRAHAM BALDWIN AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE STALLIONS.
