NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics)

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The GRAND VIEW UNIVERSITY VIKINGS fought it out with the defending champs – the KEISER UNIVERSITY SEAHAWKS. Grand View U. led 7-0 to end the 1st Quarter and 21-7 come Halftime. The Vikings shut out Keiser the rest of the way, leading 28-7 in the 3rd Quarter before winning the game 35-7. * THE VIKINGS ARE 2024 NAIA CHAMPIONS *

NCAA DIVISION TWO

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The FERRIS STATE BULLDOGS and the VALDOSTA STATE BLAZERS clashed in this title tilt. It was pretty much all Bulldogs all afternoon. By the midpoint Ferris State led 28-7 and after the break they left the Blazers even further behind for a 49-14 blowout. * THE BULLDOGS ARE 2024 D2 CHAMPIONS *

NCAA DIVISION THREE

FIRST SEMIFINAL – This game pitted the UNIVERSITY OF MOUNT UNION PURPLE RAIDERS against the visiting JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY BLUE JAYS. This Instant Classic saw the Purple Raiders on top 17-13 at the Half and 31-29 to end the 3rd Quarter. In the 4th, UMU defeated the Blue Jays by a final tally of 45-37.

SECOND SEMIFINAL – The NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE CARDINALS played host to the SUSQUEHANNA UNIVERSITY RIVERHAWKS. A very lopsided game was in store here, with the Cardinals shutting out the Riverhawks while scoring at will. In the end NCC triumphed SIXTY-SIX to NOTHING and will play the Purple Raiders on January 5th.
