THE COLLEGE OF DUPAGE CHAPARRALS VS THE ELLSWORTH COLLEGE PANTHERS – This NJCAA matchup last night kicked off the 2024 college football season in the divisions covered here at Balladeer’s Blog. On Saturday the NAIA joins the action as additional NJCAA games also kick off.
In this particular gridiron clash the Chaparrals hosted Ellsworth College. The 1st Quarter ended with the College of DuPage on top of the shell-shocked Panthers 21-0.
By Halftime the Chaparrals made it a 35-7 advantage over Ellsworth and kept up the pressure from there, leading the Panthers 45-7 to end the 3rd Quarter. The Chaps dominated the 4th as well for a 48-13 triumph. Up next DuPage travels to face the Hocking College Hawks on Saturday, August 31st.
