Great posts as always. I mentioned before that I don’t take much of an interest in sports, but I always find your posts engaging to read. While I don’t take an interest in basketball, I love movies that capture sports games. For instance, “King Richard” comes to mind as a great film celebrating the game of tennis. Superb sports biopic tracing the rise of Serena Williams who was guided by her father to become a world-famous tennis champion. Will Smith gave one of his best performances in this film before the infamous Oscars slap that ruined his reputation. I’m not a huge fan of tennis, but I absolutely loved this film. Here’s why it’s worth watching:

  2. From what I read (tiny snippets here and there) the Fever may not have a winning season on the court, but do in the box office. Am I right? Or do I need to read more than headlines!

    • You are absolutely right! They are making a lot of money off of the excitement for Caitlin Clark. The losing season was sort of inevitable since she was such a high draft pick. If you’re familiar with how drafts work in other sports you may recall how the worse a team does the previous season the higher their next draft pick, so Caitlin was grabbed by Indiana, who struggled in recent years.
