Team Name: GREEN JAYS
Location: Jackson, TN
Division: NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association)
Comment: Green Jays are a species of New World Jays and have spread from Central America to southern parts of the United States. Some ornithologists consider them to be cousins of the Inca Jays of the Andes Mountains. And as a team name it sure beats the overused Eagles, Tigers, Bulldogs and Wildcats.
