At the Half, the score was knotted up at 42-42, and from there the underdog Defenders managed some separation from the Jimmies for an 86-81 victory. The Statesmen were up 41-36 by the midpoint of the game, then left the Bobcats further and further behind to win by a final tally of 95-82. The Moundbuilders led nearly the entire game, holding a 46-31 Halftime lead before defeating the Threshers 83-74. The Cougars clung to a tight 35-34 edge at the break, only to see the Grenadiers come from behind for a 68-60 triumph. Jocobi Hendricks led IU-Southeast with his 19 points. * THE GRENADIERS ARE RSAC CHAMPIONS *

southeastern university fireTHE SUN CONFERENCE: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – This championship contest pitted the SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY FIRE against the SAINT THOMAS UNIVERSITY BOBCATS (should be the Tomcats). A slender 32-30 Halftime lead for the Fire expanded in the 2nd Half, as Southeastern U. outdistanced the Bobcats by a final count of 70-62. Reggie Mesidor put up 24 points, and teammate Riley Minix notched a Double-Double of 18 points and 13 rebounds. * THE FIRE ARE SUN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS *

xavier la gold rush logoRED RIVER ATHLETIC CONFERENCE: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The XAVIER UNIVERSITY (LA) GOLD RUSH did battle with the the LSU-SHREVEPORT PILOTS (riverboat pilots). At the Half the Pilots were out in front 34-30, but the Gold Rush came out of the locker room primed for a comeback. They wound up winning the game 79-63. T.J. Jones tossed in 23 points, while his teammate Xavier Reaves had a Double-Double of 20 points and 10 rebounds. * THE GOLD RUSH ARE RRAC CHAMPIONS *


great lakes christian college crusaders logoMIDEAST REGION: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The 3 seeds – the GREAT LAKES CHRISTIAN COLLEGE CRUSADERS – faced the top seeded SIMMONS COLLEGE OF KENTUCKY FALCONS. The Crusaders were on top 35-26 come Halftime, and after the break they squeezed out a bit more separation from the Falcons for a 79-68 victory. Kylan Shipp led the way for GLCC with 22 points. * THE CRUSADERS ARE MIDEAST REGION CHAMPIONS *

crown college purple stormNORTH REGION: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – Fighting it out for this region’s title were the 2nd seeded CROWN COLLEGE (MN) POLARS and the top seeds – the NORTH CENTRAL UNIVERSITY RAMS. The Polars saw their 33-23 lead at the Half evaporate from there, but in the end Crown College held off a furious Rams rally to win the game 61-60. Micah Ladd tossed in 21 points to lead the victors. * THE POLARS ARE NORTH REGION CHAMPIONS *
