Ha! You joke today but tomorrow there will probably be protests and movements demanding such changes to team names! You’re just being prescient!
I’ve thought of that with names like ‘Bulldogs’. How is that not insulting to my favorite creature the dogs if ‘Chiefs’ is to Native Americans? Hmm… Too complicated for me.
Yes, plus team names like “Hurricanes” and “Cyclones” and “Tornadoes”. Surely those names could “trigger” people who suffered losses from such storms. The whole thing is silly and inconsistent.
