NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The NORTHWESTERN (IA) COLLEGE RED RAIDERS and the KEISER UNIVERSITY SEAHAWKS battled it out for the NAIA title on Saturday. After a scoreless 1st Quarter, Halftime arrived with things knotted up at 7-7. The Red Raiders went on top 21-17 in the 3rd Quarter, and an action-packed 4th saw Northwestern College defeat the Seahawks 35-25. * THE RED RAIDERS ARE NAIA CHAMPIONS *

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – This game pitted the defending National Champions – the FERRIS STATE BULLDOGS – against the COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES OREDIGGERS. A lopsided game ensued, with the Bulldogs leading the Orediggers 27-0 by the Half, then coasting to a 41-14 victory. Ferris State has lost only ONE game over the past two seasons. * THE BULLDOGS ARE NCAA DIVISION TWO CHAMPIONS *
NCAA DIVISION THREE
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE CARDINALS took on the UNIVERSITY OF MOUNT UNION PURPLE RAIDERS. The Cardinals were up 7-0 in the opening Quarter and 14-0 by the break. A scoreless 3rd Quarter was then followed by an explosive 4th as North Central College had to hold on against a furious Purple Raiders rally to win the game 28-21. * THE CARDINALS ARE NCAA DIVISION THREE CHAMPIONS *
NJCAA DIVISION ONE
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The last two teams standing in this division were the IOWA WESTERN COLLEGE REIVERS and the HUTCHINSON COLLEGE BLUE DRAGONS. There was no drama in this title tilt, unfortunately, as the Reivers grabbed a quick 17-0 1st Quarter advantage which remained the score come Halftime. After the break Iowa Western College continued shutting out the Blue Dragons while adding more points for a 31-0 victory. * THE REIVERS ARE NJCAA DIVISION ONE CHAMPIONS *
