NJCAA DIVISION ONE
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The last two teams standing in this tournament were the Cinderella 10 seeds – the NORTHWEST FLORIDA STATE RAIDERS – and the top seeded SALT LAKE CITY COLLEGE BRUINS.
The Bruins were trying to make it all the way through the 2021-2022 season and post-season with only one loss on their record. The Raiders were closing in on their third national title.
The 1st Half saw Northwest Florida State in control on both sides of the ball as they led Salt Lake City 41-15 (yes, FIFTEEN). The Bruins could never dig themselves out of that deep a hole. The Raiders coasted to an 83-67 Upset triumph led by Brennan Rigsby with 24 points. * THE RAIDERS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE NJCAA *
