GAME ONE – The INDIANA UNIVERSITY SOUTHEAST GRENADIERS played host to the MIAMI UNIVERSITY AT MIDDLETOWN THUNDERHAWKS.
By Halftime the Grenadiers had pulled out to a 53-37 advantage, then outdid themselves after the break. In the end IUS clobbered the Thunderhawks 107-78. Ahmad Price led the Grenadiers with 25 points, while his teammate Glenn Hill, Jr notched a Double Double of 22 points and 10 rebounds.
GAME TWO – The SOUTHWESTERN ASSEMBLIES OF GOD UNIVERSITY LIONS defended their home court against the UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & ARTS OF OKLAHOMA DROVERS yesterday.
A 55-39 Lions lead was where things stood at the Half, following which SAGU kept up the pressure on the Drovers, ultimately defeating them 105-79. Nykolas Mason of the Lions tossed in 25 points and logged 10 rebounds for a Double Double to lead his team.
GAME THREE – The INDIANA UNIVERSITY AT KOKOMO COUGARS took it on the road against the CARLOW UNIVERSITY CELTICS.
By the break the Cougars were on top 52-31, then in the 2nd Half IUK put more and more distance between themselves and the Celtics. The final score was Cougars 110 Carlow U 56. Trequan Spivey led IU-Kokomo with 21 points while his teammate Noah Harris had a Double Double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.
GAME FOUR – In this game the OUR LADY OF THE LAKE UNIVERSITY SAINTS faced the visiting JARVIS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE BULLDOGS.
The Saints were up 48-36 come Halftime, following which they outscored the Bulldogs 54-44 to win the game 102-80. Ellis Jones and Ruben Monzon led Our Lady of the Lake University by putting up 20 points each.
Fantastic to see these teams get some overdue attention.
