Most of this, as you know, covers genres I rarely spend time on. On the “Hatred” blurb, the “Real Divide,” I caution that not only Democrats foster hatred and create environments where hatred can flourish. Too, not ALL Democrats are idiots. (Yawn. Otherwise as always, excellent content. You oughta post a stinker now and again to show yourself human and make the balance of your work all the more impressive.)
Thanks for the compliment! You only found my blog last year, I believe, so you weren’t here when I announced that I was going to “raise awareness” with Democrats about how they exemplify the hate they constantly accuse others of, especially with their nauseating “Hate has no home here” and “Love trumps hate” and all the other slogans they come up with through which they pose as “the hatred police.” I myself was a Democrat before the party went nuts and I went Independent. FDR is still the president I feel had the longest positive impact on the nation, for instance.
FDR was of necessity and of the times. We could argue individual programs – to no point. The compliment? Genuine. One or two “educated” idiots out there whose politics I do not know (and don’t care to know) who infuriate the shix out of me because they assume their education means they are so intelligent no one dare question anything they say and that nothing anyone else has to say can possibly have any value; ignore what they cannot refute. Do not hear but absolute concessions. Last-worders. A pleasure to read and chat with someone who may not agree but is open to discussion. Why I look forward to seeing you pop up in my reader.
