The National Championship game between Grand View University and Morningside College is set for December 18th at 7PM Eastern Time.
NCAA DIVISION TWO
FIRST SEMIFINAL – The VALDOSTA STATE BLAZERS took on the COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES OREDIGGERS in this game. A 10-3 1st Quarter lead for the Blazers turned into a 24-14 advantage by Halftime. Valdosta State made it a 34-14 game to end the 3rd Quarter, then withstood an Orediggers rally in the 4th for a 34-31 victory.
SECOND SEMIFINAL – The FERRIS STATE BULLDOGS battled the SHEPHERD UNIVERSITY RAMS. This was a lopsided game all the way as the Bulldogs seized a 21-7 lead over the Rams in the opening Quarter and never looked back from there. In the end Ferris State eviscerated Shepherd University by a final tally of 55-7.
NCAA DIVISION THREE
FIRST SEMIFINAL – This game pitted the defending National Champions – the NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE CARDINALS – against the UNIVERSITY OF MOUNT UNION PURPLE RAIDERS. The Cardinals were chasing the Purple Raiders 7-6 in the 1st Quarter but then went on top 16-7 by the Half. After the break NCC outscored Mount Union 10-6 for a 26-13 triumph.
SECOND SEMIFINAL – The UNIVERSITY OF MARY HARDIN-BAYLOR CRUSADERS faced the UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN AT WHITEWATER WARHAWKS. A scoreless opening Quarter was followed by a 17-7 Crusaders lead at Halftime. From there UMHB scored the only points of the 2nd Half to win the game 24-7.
NJCAA
The National Championship game between Iowa Western College and the New Mexico Military Institute will be played December 17th at 8PM Eastern Time.
