The COLLEGE OF DUPAGE CHAPARRALS and the NASSAU COLLEGE LIONS are the two teams competing in the 2021 National Championship Game in NJCAA Division Three football. This is the first year that NJCAA football has been separated into different divisions.
(There is no football for NJCAA Division Two.) The Chaparrals just ended the 2021 season at number 1 in the polls with the number two team being the Lions. The game will be played on December 4th with kickoff at 1:00PM ET.
I am opposed to NCAA playoffs. A team can go undefeated throughout the season, and lose one game to a team that has won only half of their season’s games, then the no-loss team is out. I think that “playoffs” are used, not for the purpose of determining a national champion, but for the purposes of the playoff system.
Yes, I agree the NCAA Division One playoff system is done just for the money. At these lower divisions that I cover (NAIA, NCAA Divisions Two and Three, NCCAA, USCAA and NJCAA) the money involved is too low to be a corrupting influence.
Bobby Knight favored a 110 team playoff. With such a system, “why even have a season?”
I agree! That is ridiculous!
I am glad that somebody agrees with me LOL.
I understand!
I am glad that you do!!! LOL
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Thank you; I wish the same for you.
Great!
